It’s that layer of fat around your belly that was not around before you got pregnant and it sucks.

But now that your baby is born, you can start to get back your former figure.

Here are several ways to help you:

- Breastfeeding (burns calories and extra fats)
- Drink more water (increases your metabolic rate and suppresses appetite). Avoid soda and other beverages.
- Daily exercise routine. Check with your physician for appropriate types of workouts. C-section mothers should probably go for yoga or pilates. Several months may be required for results to be visible – so, please persevere.
- Go for balanced diet and appropriate eating habits for optimum nutrition and to avoid feeling hungry
